Registration is now OPEN!

The player pack (containing missions, army building rules and so forth) is also available via download in that link.

As I've posted elsewhere, anyone who wants to re-submit their list due to the mission layout is free to do so. List submission is to myself or Llews via PM, or to myself via jose.javier.pastor@gmail.com (as per the player pack).

IF have sent me an update on Evolution rego activity.

25 player pack downloads (between 12 and 25 teams... AWESOME!)

Only ONE registration (Aaron "Copper Head" Filmer for the Sons of Beam).

So unless the Sons of Beam want to sit there and play with themselves (no Jose don't make that joke it's too easy....), then we'll need more people to register!

plans i had for doubles weekend have been cancelled so it turns out i can make it now. all i need is a partner now. i can bring necrons, eldar, 1k sons or grey knights. only necrons and eldar would be a fully painted army though if you are planning on being competitive. send me a PM if interested.

Guys, just so you know (and because I feel like repeating the player pack): Prizes are being supplied in the main by Irresistible Force. Because they were nice enough to host this at the last minute, and because Gav's shop is made of Win. So I wanna support them

This, however means that PRE-REGISTRATION IS VERY IMPORTANT! We need to know how much in prizes Gav's bringing along to the party, and since it's Doubles it's doubling up so it's doubly important (bad pun alert....). So WitchKing, to answer the question, unfortunately pay on the day is out (I'll try to pop around to Gav's to confirm if he's okay to take payment on the day, but until we know otherwise assume no).

Sofar we have SEVEN REGISTERED TEAMS. Well done chaps however I'm getting lists from people who aren't registered, and that scares me a little.

There is a combo in the new Space Marines codex...

Fielding Vulkan who twin links the "whole army's" melta and flamer weapons.
The intention is obviously to allow Land Speeders and the like to twin link.
Not to give allied Sisters of Battle a re-roll on their flamers.
Rules As Written it flies...sadly.

Applying this to allied Sisters of Battle is the most heinous of cheesemongery, worthy of a Frenchman.
I would never do it one on one, or even mention the idea seriously to a person I respected.

Hearing this banter of ridiculously cheesed up lists I can't help but think the tournament would be less in some way were we not to conquer these new heights of bearded cheesemongering.

Its actually not as tough as pure Sisters or a pure Vulkan list.
But I'll never field it anywhere else.
And it'll be funny if get the drop on BHR with a few templates

I think you will find Vulcan can only give this power to his army, not his allied army.......I may be wrong but I would await a judgement from Borzag.....

Each team is treated as two different armies and can't share rules like that. Vulkan is SPECIFICALLY given as the example.
