Big day.
Had to say a few words at the start of the meet, there is no escaping that this has been a horrific week for Melbourne, and many of us know people directly or know of people that have been affected directly.
I thank everyone whom came to the club today as all takings from door entry, drink and snack sales are being given to charity. Should come close to $200, perhaps we will give a flat $200 if it is close.
More updates to follow on that.
Gaming- Simon plays fantasy. El coaches. biggrin.gif
Win one, lose one.
Remember charge reactions Simon, it ain't 40k.
Shaun wins with Simon's nids- He must be cheating.
Nice to see the club dwarf army in use.
Club stayed open till 8:00 pm, thanks to everyone who helped pack the tables away.
See you all there next meet.

I don't understand why you cant win with nids Simon. It wasnt really that hard. Must be the generalship armata_PDT_36.gif

On a side note #1, Sorry Luke, it appears you were right about the Lictor save. I re-read the stealth rule and it does revert to a 5+ save in the open in close combat with Chitinous armour, not cover. My bad.

On a side note #2, Congrats to GROTS on another fantastic turnout and many thanks to all in regard to the donation to the bushfire appeal.

I understood that you interpreted it that way in good faith, but playing it the other way would have freed my prince to do a lot more, might have made a bit of a difference. I can't undo what has happened though (only get Rob to disregard it as part of the club championship biggrin.gif )

Good to see another great turn out, including a few new guests and some new members.
Hope to see you all in a fortnight.

You were kinda hamstrung without an Organ Gun, Gyrocopter, Slayers, Iron Breakers so no biggie. I wouldn't mind playing your Chaos Army in a 2000 point or larger

Don't forget your Crossbowman stood toe to toe with my Black Guard for 3 rounds of combat!!!

Choppy thanks for the game at the last GROTS. The photos turned out swell & I had a bit of a chuckle at some of em. I'll probably be blowing the dust off my Ogre Kingdoms and bringing them down this weekend so lemme know if you're in the mood to squish some Gnoblars!!.

Might also bring my Lizardmen to try out the new Lizardmen rules as well.
