Basically with this list I wanted everythng to operate around the Guardians. The falcons (with Fire dragons), give me the speed to respond to relly nasty things like infiltating genestealer lord, droppods full of marines, and infitrting daemon bombers. If I have to go up against a really nasty shooty army, I can use the falcons as attack transports.

Any comments? I know at least one of my regular opponents will hate the starcannons - he thinks more than 2 is two many! Whaddayes think?

Your regular opponent thinks TWO is to much, at GROTS we have a guy who fields 11. 4 is a good number I think, but drop the Shuriken Cannon on the falcon and give it a starcannon too.

Since their only BS 3 ure only realistically killing 5-6 marines with star cannons. Against a bolta heavy army i dont see the naked buggers lasting long so i wouldn't stress... some people will always cry cheeze though. Offer them a tissue and move on

suely those d3 lances things would e better on the falcons. i think the aspect sqauds would bwe better. bump the dragons up to 6 and the scorps up as much as points will allow.

also those gaurdian squads seem a little small but maybe thats just me.

You mean the Pulse laser? it comes on the other side of he turret as standard

Cheers for the comments on the Aspects, I'd like to beef them up, but what do I drop? The Guardian squads can't really get any smaller without becoming ablative wounds for the weapon platforms. I could drop the Rangers, that would give me points for Fire Dragon Exarchs, maybe with Burning Fist, which would give me more of an assault option vs Guard and Tau. Or I could take a small squad of Dire Avengers.

suggestions:
1. drop mind war & ghosthelm (or rune of witnessing) for stealth on the scorpion exarch.
2. drop one starcannon/bright lance from a guardian squad to replace the TL Shuriken Catapults on the falcons for Shuriken Cannons. pure gold baby!
3. (maybe) drop a unit of guardians for rangers & see how the list operates if you have the spare models
