necrons will have a new codex release next year. there is no if's, ands or but's about it. it is set in stone now.

With the current codex dash (creep is a lie!) I can't see them taking out the C'tan, especially now that the Tyranids get two massive beasts, each of which will probably be close to or over 300 points.

I can, there is a massive differance between a giant tyranid bio construct and a god given form.
They're powerful but in gaming terms, I don't think they're quite what many would expect them to be but to make them what they should be would break the game so hard it'd be ridiculous... Or belong in apocalypse.

But I could see the crons getting giant constructs or necrons of their own, that would be cool...

According to a GW employee, apparently the chaps over in England in the head office don't consider Dark Eldar significant enough to make it a major project. From what I have heard they are getting worked on, but more or less like a time filler in between other more important projects. So in reality they are constantly on the back-burner, with no real time/effort/resources getting put into the project. Don't hold your breath for DE
