I was thinking about Popping in to get some stuff down the track and maybe getting a game. Can you recommend a good time/day (PS I do work Mon-Fri 09am-5pm) for a game? you know when there are lots of people inn?
If you are looking for a game of 40K, you can go down there on Wed evening. The gaming session takes place
every week.
It usually starts from
4:00 pm - 10:00 pm. (Or even till midnight if the store owner feels like opening up the store that long!) In terms of number of people, I can say that there will always be someone there who can give you a game or two. The number varies from time to time. In some weeks, there are few. Sometimes, there are about 10+ people! (I saw 8 players doing a huge apocalypse team battle 2 weeks ago even though I didn't have a chance to see it till the end.)
Regardless though, I can ensure you that you would definitely find some players there. Long story short, I tried to set up a 40K gaming group within CBD area last year. (Which eventually sort of turned into a club by the name "MCG". We were even given a forum here on WAU.

Things turned out well with growing number of players in the group. Later on, I stumbled upon Battle Bunker and had long talk with Viv (the store owner). This resulted in a group of 40k players playing there due to good facility for wargaming.

OK, enough talk. Now, how to get there with public transport?
You can catch a tram
route 86 and drop off at the stop number
33.
Alternatively, by train, get on
Epping line and get off at
Northcote Station.
It takes about half an hour to get there. Anywho, I'll see you sometimes. (If I am not too busy with my Uni study and decided to pop up to see how things go with the group.)
