I'd like to see some larger pics. Particular of the dude on the palanquin...

Well being the 'friend' who said that he should finish the army.
YOU SHOULD FINISH THE BLOODY ARMY. DONT LET THIS BE ANOTHER INCOMPLETER.
I want to see this in all its Glory on the Tabletop, with a great carry tray.
I wish I had 50% of your painting skill. Ahh one day *Grin*
keep up the good work Pauly.

Very nice.

Quite realistic for a Fantasy army, and very well done.

Wish I could do as well as that =P

I am gald you thought it was realistic because while I know I am painting fantasy figs I still want to make them as realistic as posible, "NO PINK OGRES FOR ME!"

Thanks again.

Nicely done, bro! I like some of the tones you've used. I'm particularly interested in how you did that ash waste black base. It looks very interesting...

I think the green on the scythe weapons of the Lord on Palanquin might be a bit bright in comparison to other sections of the army though. You've done it semi-muted in other places but there it goes to more of a power weapon-ish sort of colour.

Hi,
Thanks for your positive comments, feels good when other's like your work.

Hey! as far as you doing as well, I have only been in the hobby for about 6yrs and had never painted anything before, but I guess the more time you spend working at the results and improvement come quick.
Take this WoC Nurgle project and compare it to my very first army I painted and am now selling on BS+S
it looks like a different painter did it.

Anyway take care and thanks again.

Hi,
Thanks for your positive comments, feels good when other like your work. the base are not complete yet as still deciding what the theme will be, I guess you picked it in one as I was going for a much more powerful weapon, as he is the lord he should be blessed with venom on his blade, but will relook at him and perhaps a few ink washes will tone his weapons down.

Thanks for checking out my work.

awesome stuff dude.
love the green work. stands out rather well. perhaps use some darker shading on the other areas of the figures for a better contrast. as it stands the green stands out prominently and it overshadows the subtler tones on the rest of the model. Particularly the Lord, not so much on the troops of the mounted champion.
all this coming from a chap whose very best work looks like a perfectly good figure vomited on, so take my input for what it is.
Roark
Wow. Excellent work. Really love the knights and Palanquin Lord. Very very classy effort.
