Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has experience with back to base-ix bases. The main reason i ask is because i would be looking to magnetise the miniatures and was hoping the bases had a hollow underside similar to the gw bases where a magnet would fit.

Thanks

They are solid on the bottom so would need drilling if you want to put a magnet in.

Otherwise, cannot rate them highly enough.

Unfortunately the underside of their bases are infact solid, as the whole base is cast from resin.

I'm you could still manage to just sink the magnet into the base and the model to do the same thing.

would probably be easier than the hollow GW bases for magnetizing.

Hey there dude,

I've drilled holes in to b2b bases as shown below...

I used Loctite super glue to stick them in but i think the heat from some days from the past few months have gotton to them and they've been pulling themselves out, so I may have to rethink how to stick them in (maybe araldite or something).

But they're damn fine bases!!!

yup solid base. but that's a good thing if you want to magnetize. they tend to be a bit taller than gw flat bases so you've got more room to work with. not to mention being pure awesome. just make sure you trim the bottom edges rather carefully.
