Hey all,

Ive been playing BB on my computer for a little while now and Ive noticed that its almost impossible to get through a 2nd season without my team getting utterly mauled by injuries and death. Wondering if its really my crappy tactics and lack of forward thinking, or if the AI just gets that much harder and dodgies up the statistic probabilities to make my guys die more from injuries.

To test this I would really like to play some people online and see how I go against real people. So im wondering now how many people play this game online??

I am also looking to get into the board game side of things and was wondering how popular this game is around Brisbane??

Cheers guys, Ronin

Hey mate

try out Ausbowl.com they do run occasional cyanide online leagues.

There are 3 boardgame leagues that I know of in Brisbane

BABBL - Currently in the finals of season 6, we had 30 teams (30 coaches) for season 6 and season 7 signup is underway

IFBBL - Currently late in season 2, we have 24 Teams (24 coaches) with alot of new players and fantasy converts

Northern Knights also have a league, I am unsure of the players but they can be found in the club forum

Lots of different options for BB, it is a game that has increased in populaity in recent times here in Brisbane. I also run small one day tourneys if you would like to come out and have a look, next one is at Triparil B April 11th (see my sig link for details)

Blood Bowl has had a real resurgence in Australia in the past few years. Queensland and NSW both have multiple leagues, the WA league is huge and the ACT, SA and Victoria all have leagues going as well. On top of that there are almost a dozen tournaments being run around the country each year. I think the biggest one, at CanCon got around 70-odd people the last 2 years.
