Well Corsairs are currently supposedly sitting on a completed players pack for a double tournament.
I'm not sure how many people we could have - we fit 32 in for Gosford Shield; 40 easily. But with 2 people a side I'm no sure we could fit a full 40 pairs in.
Anywho. Is there interest for this. It doesn't have to be like tomorrow - it might be worth holding off a little bit - say after Lords or sometime in June when nothing is really happening...
Just thought I'd put it out there - likewise, are the Slayers planning on running another soon?

Yep, there is a completed players pack. We were originally talking about holding a doubles event at the July meeting, but I'm not sure what happened to that idea.
Last I heard, there might possibly be a small Infinity tourney (6-10 players) running at the July meeting instead, depending on interest and whether we can secure a competent TO for the system on the day.
Also, there is already a warmachine/hordes event down for the June corsairs meeting.
The Doubles Tourny will be going ahead at Cessnock.
We are a bit late putting out the details because we didnt have a definite TO. That has now been sorted.
There is still a toss up between the Saturday or the Sunday of the same weekend, June 19 or 20. Any preferences?

Thats ok, what about August/September - would people be keen on one then?
Would love to go to a doubles. Psyche was making noises about doing one at Western Warriors around August as well. Possibly they could be linked? (Like Western warrios vs Gosford Gamers Guild or something so the 2 clubs' results and compared with bragging rights to the best overall score)

I like the idea of this.. Maybe have one event as a high comp and another as a low comp...
So we each run our own (at about the same time) and then compare?
