hey guys
im surprised that no one hasn't posted this up yet, well... new games are coming out fable 3, GOW 3(no not god of war), Gears of war 3, Metal Gear Solid RISING on 360 yep no lie on 360 and some new accessories like the motion sentenced Kinect and also a new Xbox 360 console coming out just go the site of ebgames.com.au or xbox.com to check them out

so what do guys think?
Mitey
I think although Xbox 360 and associated games are 'wargames' I don't think they technically count towards any news on WargamerAU.

I think this is the gaming news and rumours forum, not exclusively the wargaming news forum.

The new 360 console looks interesting, smaller, built in wifi (N standard too), 250gig HD (which is turning into the console standard now) better mobo design and layout and uses less power

the interesting thing is that they say it is Kinect ready and has a Kinect port - yet Kinect is supposed to be able to work with all existing 360's (maybe there is going to be another accessory you are going to have to buy to make it work)

Just don't move or bump the console while it has a disc in it.

If you want a 360 now is the time to get one expect Elite's to drop in price as of today

Also if you want Kinect it looks like it will be around the $200 AU mark but there will be a bundle with the new slim console in a few months

ohmy.gif!

I am kinda keen to see how kinect will work with games like Fable 3. Hopefully it is used in more genres then just the party game area to crack down on the wii.

I had a look at the video that popped up on Live and it looks like it has a lot more cooling vents too so maybe we've finally seen the end of red ring errors.

Apparently there will never be RRoD ever on the new 360's, so I'm wondering how they're planning on showing when your Xbox dies without the lights.
HairyDave
Especially since the lack of noise isn't going to give it away either smile.gif

if you are not interested in the new slim then now is definitely the time to get an elite

Picked up my new Slim version this evening and it's really not that much smaller than the existing versions....

But it is quieter and vents a lot more heat so I may have to change where I've put it.
