Ooh. Ooh! Nicely done!
Gloss makes those gems really sweet, man.
And although I'm notorious for not following this advice: try paint on glossy stuff on the things that are
meant to be shiny, and keep the matt spray further back for the rest of the model.
I have lots of shiny Orks by not listening to this advice!

But I like it man.
Asurmen wash on the robes yeah? Anything else funky to it?
Or was it camera flash? Oops. Probably was.
Thanks guys.
Like I said ... they're getting matted eventually, and I'll go back and pick out the gems in gloss

Asurmen wash, pshaw !! That's Ultramarine Blue layered down to Moody Blue in the crevasses and up through Enchated Blue to Space Wolf Grey on the high points. It's then washed with a mix of blue ink, glaze medium, and water. The flash then takes away most of the depth and subtlety

That and the eyes were my first attempt at layering (or whatever you call the thing where you do thin coats that are a bit transparent).
