11 to 13 December 2015 - Townsville North QLD.

This years December gaming event in North QLD is good to go and we are taking registration now. If you are a fan of the ANZAC Cup then tempt yourself with 3 days and 2 evenings of gaming - with multiple organised play and casual events on offer (including boardgaming) - there is a game for everyone. Play something different everyday!

Gather your armies, gather your mates and organise your convoys.

This will be the biggest event in Townsville ever.

Lots of updates as we get into the home stretch in preparation for HEROCON 2015.

In no particular order (Please read all to get involved in our competition to win some cool stuff).

- WHFB will now use the fan made 9th Age rules.
- Our prize pool for our charity raffles is now around $6000 and climbing thanks to heaps of sponsorship both from here at home and from companies overseas.
- Townsville Boardgamers Inc are all set to bring their vast game library for all those not playing in any of the 13 organised play events over the 3 days and 2 nights on offer.
- There is a possibility of a Super Smash Brother Tournament to be held along side HEROCON.
- With Starwars not far away we will be having plenty of SW stuff to gork at over the weekend inclduing a massive Starwars Lego collection and possibly some fellas from the 501st.
- Our good mates from Sound of Machines are locked in to run a hobby tutorial day.
- The ADFWGA is having a competition open to all who help to advertise HEROCON. A copy of Rum and Bones from Coolminiornot is up for grabs. Full details available on our Facebook page (You do not have to be in attendance to win and we will post within Australia to the winner).
