hi all,
my name is joshua diffey, myself and one of my mates Ray are planning on coming up to Auscon from Melbourne. I have purchased my ticket, Ray is going to do it soon.
Does anyone want to put their hand up and volunteer their couch for the friday and saturday nights of that weekend? I will do my best to return any favours if you plan on doing a tourney in melbourne.

Alternatively, does anyone know anywhere cheap we could stay? maybe a motel or something nearby?

Where and when precicely is auscon being held. Been living under a thumb for a good long time and just now coming into the light.

Bear with me mate, I'm heading into the valley on Friday and will be scouting out several venues. The cheapest I know of currently is "The Manor", just around the corner from the venue, 3-4 star Bed & Breakfast for a budget rate (will confirm prices)
However, I'll post up details on our blogsite, web site and here on WAU

Lobo, AUSCON is in Brisbane, RNA showgrounds. Lots of games, seminars, open from 8am till midnight, great food, drink, people and of course the Wizards of Oz painting comp with a trip to the States & Adepticon up for grabs!
April 30 till May 2nd, 3 days of...well, fun!
