Getting in early on the details for this one, as it's going to use some of the more complicated bits of Steamroller 2012

When: 18 March, 11am
Where: Infinity Games, 27 Gilbert Place Adelaide
Organiser: Tilaurin
Details: $10 Entry, Coins & Random prizes.

Flanks for the Memories!
Army: 50pts + 10pts Reinforcements*. Unrestricted Characters, Minimum 1 list maximum 2.
Painting: Baseline (none)
Number of Rounds: 4
Game Timing: Casual Time Limits (12minutes, 2 x 6 minute extensions*)
Scenario Variants: Artifice (Reinforcements*)
Scenarios: Close Quarters (1), A Flag Too Far (10), Bunkers (11), Envelopment (12)
Victory: Baseline
Final Standings: Control Point Scoring (TP > CP > Army Points > Strength of Schedule for scoring)

So what all that means is a 50point event with 10points of reinforcements, you may have two lists but one will do, and rather than Strength of Schedule we'll be running with Control Points as the first tiebreaker after wins. This is because the scene is growing a bit and I think we might cross the 16 player mark, but I still want a clear winner based on that players performance with only four rounds.

As usual you'll notice a lack of character restrictions, and casual time limits. We won't be running casual time limits for the whole year, but for this round in particular when you'll have a bit of extra stuff coming on from round 2 or later I figure it'll be worth the slightly slower pace. Note you get a second extension too, woah, how nice am I?

EVERY scenario in this event will use reinforcements, and we'll be running Close Quarters (1), A Flag Too Far (10), Bunkers (11), and Envelopment (12).

Prizes will be coins, a voucher for first, and some random prizes including the much vaunted Mystery Prize!

Signups (11):
Senior Warcaster Scrubba (Cygnar)
"Orsus Sexytime" easytiger1 (Undecided)
rb.uhs (Cygnar)
CaptBooyah (Legion)
GuppyShark (Menoth)
Neil (Trollbloods)
Scott Briggs (?)
Kojiro (Cygnar)
N8dog (Retibution)
King Kristian the Unstoppable (Khador)
Masero (Circle)

I can't come, but I absolutely love the name. It's amazing.

Considering it but don't have much xp with ganes that size (even if i've got more than enough models i've only been playing for a max of 6 months so time limits maybe problematic). Where can i find the rules for the scenario's? Would be using Cryx if i do sign up.

Dont worry about experience my third fourth and fifth games ever were at a tourney and I had a blast as far as the rules of the scenarios goes you can download those from the privateer press website

--------------------
I love the character restrictions. In fact I WILL be using character restrictions in all the tournaments I attend even if it is NOT a requirement

And nothing instills confidence than beating Terry or Ross until you realise just how bad they actually are

What's that Shaun? You're going to beat me? It's been scientifically proven that you can't win games unless you have DEF 19 Kayazy.

It's going to be a battle of the short-buses.

Oi, Rosslington, I wanna see that Storm Strider on the table, I know there'll be at LEAST one other Battle Engine in attendance, possibly two...
