Having seen them in person, the photos don't do them justice.
Would also love to know how the skin was done. -------------------- Exellent I'll shave the goat and warm up a vat of liverwurst. I am ribbing him so good natured requests sent to Glynaynsley will add to my childish glee.
Seamus, alt and Avatar will be done someday. You can't hurry art. Or bums. -------------------- Adventures in Army Painter Soft Tone:

Yes indeedily, the guilt mongering worked and Avatar Seamus, Copycat are both done in a lovely shade of peach.
Unfortunately I'm exploding from both ends at the moment and then finishing moving house this weekend. If I find their case I'll take some quick snaps. Edit: PMed Glynaynsley about the skin. He is an airbrush fan so who knows, I'm wondering if its brush applied skin and just looks great due to the vibrant clothes and snazzy glow effect. Got the Pm.
I'm sorry guys but when I do mini's like this I'm usually mixing colours up for each model individually, so unfortunately I don't remember what I used. Looking back at the pictures I can see that jack daw has ice blue in him, I seem to remember that I used greens and greys in the skin, normal skin colours are to warm for undead so I don't think I used any. If I see the models IRL again I'm sure I'll be able to decipher it. -------------------- I am amazing, la la la

Finally finished moving and snapped some quick pictures:
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() There was a 4kg salmon wrapped in bacon on my phone. The people need to know: ![]() ![]() Glynaynsley, everyone loves your peachy colour selection on Copycat and avatar Seamus. The camera brings out that skin wash you hated on the avater, but no one can see it on the tabletop, including me and I know where it is. I'm planning to bribe you to do regular Seamus in that colour, too, when you get a moment. Having a great time playing with him, was having trouble facing Constructs with The Hanged but avatar Seamus fixes them right up. Def looks better without the flash.
I'm glad they look alright that close with a camera, but the skin and that "wash" (stupid PP calling an ink a wash) will forever annoy me. Maybe during the holidays I'll come down and fix it for you and paint a nice peach colour on normal seamus. -------------------- I am amazing, la la la

I do remember this as it was a test for a technique
I airbrushed the model with primers using blacks, greys and white to create light and shadow, I then airbrushed the whole model with a flesh colour. The primers created the light and shadow of the skin. Looking back though it came out a bit powdery, don't know if thats to do with the resin in particular or the lifecolour paint I used. A few more shades would have been good too. -------------------- I am amazing, la la la

Salmon in bacon? Love the seamus shading you've done Depending on the breed, salmon can have a nice deep red flesh that really works with bacon. So I see no harm in this, other than the fact that he hasn't told us the recipe. Share damnit!!! Also, I may have to get off my ass and paint up my Seamii. -------------------- Mate I'll pay MONEY to sit there and watch Jose get Whupped..Never seen someone lose which such style!
