Bugger - if Free, would be doing Newcastle Super Series (on same day).

Why this? It's actually nice to finish up mid arvo, have some time to shop if need be, and have an evening to do something with.

I think you said something about lack of numbers, but how many people did we have when we started at 1000hrs compared to 0830hrs start?

We were pushing 30 players at 10:00 am starts, now we are getting 10-12?

We were getting travelers from W'Gong and Newcastle. 8:30 am starts basically rules them out. I live in Coogee and 8:30 starts make it real difficult for me. It depends if we want to keep it local friendly or have more travelers and more numbers IMO.

It's on at 1000 now. But the 7 min turns with 3 min extension is what kills me. Looks like smaller lists coming up. Legion are whispering to me...

Is this deliberately clashing with the Newcastle Super Series? It seems whenever a Newcastle event is put on there is a Tin Soldier one at the same time :/

Ah well more choice for players I guess, which is a good thing overall I guess. I think we need more co-ordination though! :-)

The Super Series has been on the calendar for months, pretty easy to co-ordinate around that...

I liked the early start - but I'm local. It was good finishing at 3pm though...

But the 7min 35 points was WAY harder than 10min for 50 points.

On one hand, Newcastle and Penrith are far away. But for super series, I'm hoping to do Newcastle. I would like to see Burwood, Campbeltown, Penrith, Newcastle etc all able to avoid some of these clashes - but truth be told, there doesn't seem to be a clear, organised and coherent Tourney calendar.

But we aren't supposed to compare points like this to previous organisation initiatives. So hey...

I know I'm just grateful for all the TO's out there - I just feel bad that I'm going to let Bails down by not being at the next local one.

I'm super looking forward to the Penrith Super Series however - that one will be huge!

I am not that local (Parra), however, do like the 8:30am starts as finishing at 3pm allows me to get home in time to spend some time with family.

Prolly out for the next one anyways due to 2nd life leach tongue.gif being around by then!

Dentist - while I love the smashing you are giving me , these dates were set at the beginning of the year by the store. I have no control over them. I am very sorry if they conflict with Newcastle -its not intentional.

Sorry guys have been flat out like a flat out like dog chasing cars.

The times were changed back after numbers fell by half. As much as I would like to say that I control the SHop I am afraid my ego has to take a hit and confess I work alongside my LGS (personnaly I like the early finish as well but thats probably because I am awake at 0600 most days either way)

Cheers guys.

You're always going to have a mixture of "I wants". The numbers were higher with a 1000 start. Sorry to have missed this one but I had to have a hernia operation! Should be at the July meet.

I have a feeling the July event could crack 30 players!
