Hello WAU'ers

Due to popular demand I am now taking orders for 2 new tray sizes.

All trays are 440mm x 310mm to fit inside the same craftech cases.
Heavy Cavalry (25 cavities per tray) ($25each or $45 for 2):Each cell is 70mm x 50 mm x 50mm deep plus an 8mm base.
Ideal for terminators, heavy cavalry models, and warjacks.

Heavy Infantry (36 cavities per tray)
($50 per set of 3 or $20each): Each cell is 60mm x 40mm x 35mm deep plus an 8mm base. Ideal for marines, orcs, black orcs, chaos warriors also ogres fit nicely in these ones!

To preorder email minisofttransports@gmail.com

**UPDATE* Stock has arrived and will be shipping whenever orders arrive so get them in! I will be putting up some pics of the trays and my website ASAP!**

Regards

Dave

just a question...

the old trays you had listed before...

"" These trays are approx 440mm x 310mm x 25mm deep (plus a 6mm base so each tray is 31mm total thickness of which 25mm is useable). They each contain 60 25mm x 50mm cut outs in which to house your miniatures. If you need bigger ones, then just like in a GW tray you can cut the foam to your specifications. ""

would those "cavities" hold a normal space marine?

or should i opt for the 36 cavities per tray...

Dave
just for clarification...are we paying for a single tray? or for enough trays to fill a craftech box?

Cheers

I hope I'm not stepping on Dave's toes, but the normal trays are ideal for basic marines that have no extensions to them. If you have banner poles, exotic poses (eg grey knights) or nids with claws (eg genestealers) you might be better off going for the bigger cells....or being prepared to modify the smaller cells by removing foam between them.

I'm getting a set of the 36 cell foam and a single 25 cell. the 25 cell simply replaces 2 layers of the 60 cell foam.

thanks dave....order on its way.

Fudd: As Stu mentioned it depends on the marine poses. For standard marines w/ bolters they fit fine. I did however have someone say his marines didn't fit which I thought was strange. For chaos marines perhaps the bigger is better due to spikes, trophy racks etc.
Black orcs will definitely prefer bigger cells.

You could really cut into the standard 60 cavity 25mm deep trays to make most models fit, these trays are more for those ppl who don't want to cut into their trays or who have larger models that won't fit in the 25mm depth.

onelostchicken: 3 heavy infantry trays fill a case, 2 heavy can trays fill a case with a touch of room to spare for a codex or similar book p to 10mm thick.

Cheers Dave

Wow! This sounds perfect.

Any chance of some pics?

So for ogres/chariots I guess its the "Heavy Cavalry (25 cavities per tray)" trays hey?

Yes ogres should fit nicely in the heavy cav trays, you could definitely mod to fit chariots also. No pics as I have not ordered these yet, hence preorders.

I'll probably need a cavalry tray; the trays I got already are excellent, but its tricky to fit LOTR Cavalry on 40mm bases in to the cells (I joined 2 cells but it lacks the depth for a 40mm base).

Is it possible to order just 1 cav tray?
And since my case has 4 of your original trays, would using it mean removing 2 standard trays.

Matt, unless you are in a rush hold off a bit.
Wingman and i will be putting in an order for a few trays.
i saw his today and even though i like the GW ones sometimes and really like the Intersponges i think that i will go for a Tip Top tiptopperoo ™ for my Empire army.
It might be easier to get them in one order?
Then again, might not be considering you are a fair way off sad.gif

Those Cavalry ones look like they'd be fantastic for Confrontation Wolfen.... and the Heavy Inf. for other confrontation stuff with swords and arms and things sticking out everywhere....
Will have a look at my current storage space usages...

Matt: Yes you would need to remove 2 trays to fit in a cav tray. Single trays can be purchased as stated and priced in the original post.

Dabigboss: Postage savings won't be that great on larger orders. I am limited due to cubic weight by Aus post and often its cheaper to send multiple parcels than one big one.

Slaanesh LC: See how your space is looking and let me know!

Cheers
Dave

Sounds great to me.
Any idea when you are likely to have these new trays ready, or is it a matter of building up lots of orders first again?

Hi Matt,

Yeah just to cover my own butt a little I will wait til I get a few more orders. I have about $500 worth at the minute, I will wait til i get 1k worth. Although I do have a deadline to meet for a guy in NZ, so I will put the order through as soon as he confirms and makes payment which could be in the next couple of days.

Bottom line is, if you are interested and want these trays sooner rather than later, then help me to help you by making an order now.

Thanks again guys!
BTW the heavy Cav trays fit ogres perfectly lying down, grave style!
