I've decided to take all my disparate Blood Bowl elements and put them in a single log.

I'll just vaguely document my stuff as I do it!

If anyone else wants to post their own projects in here as well they're welcome to, it would be nice to get a fairly collected bunch of BB teams!

So, I'll start with my completed teams.

My second team, first. The first team wont be going up... a Skaven team from about 10 years ago, that is really terrible.

When I got back into Blood Bowl last year I fell in love with lizardmen, and started the:

Sacred Spawning

Made up of WHFB plastics. Skinks, Temple Guard and a Kroxigor.

There is a bit more detail in this thread where I was trying to come up with a colour scheme.

Finished team:

And some more close-up shots:

These guys have performed quite well!
Won Best Painted at WAACYbowl last year.

Came first in our clubs first league, 4th I think in WAACYbowl, 3rd in Massivebowl.

Now that Ive got the Blood Bowl Bug I just want to have so many teams, and thats where our story continues...

Next up....

The Sandy Slammers
...Or at least, thats a placeholder name until I come up with something better.

Khemri are a really interesting team, although theyve gotten much worse in the latest rules I think.

This team was really easy: a Skeleton box, a few Mummies and a little greenstuff.

The painting was easy too - Mostly done with a some washes.

The team:

Mummies:

Blitzers:

Linemen:

Journeymen:

These guys havent seen the pitch yet, and I still need to number their bases.

The long-term plan is to do up some Ghouls as well so that they can also be interchanged as an Undead team.

that lizardman team is damn sexy luke, DAMN sexy.

the undeads are cool but for some reason im more detracted by the green bases on them. I suppose you could paint on a few white lines or something to zazz them up? maybe a section of vodafone advertising?

I dunno, or dont, they look pretty good already.

And the stuff Im working on now.

I bought a Female Elf team from Shadowforge a while back and started painting a test mini but only got half way:

IPB Image

Will end up as purple/lilac and white when I get around to it!

Also did a bit of work on Griff, again havent finished yet:

IPB Image

Although he has been attacked by kittens since that photo and is quite chipped now, I will need epic motivation to re-mix colours and such to continue with him.

Finally my most current project is an Ogre team, using the Ogres from Heresy:

IPB Image

And Snotlings from Impact!:

Ive pretty much assembled all 5 Ogres so far, but they require a whole bunch of gap-filling since they had to be chopped and reposed so they didnt all look the same (running is fine for a couple, but there needs to be some stationary line-of-scrimmage players).

Im using 30mm bases for the Ogres, and 20mm bases for the Snotlings.

Scale wise, I think theyre quite good:

And the snotlings are so CUTE!

Im thinking of doing the same colour scheme as in above photo of snotlings, although it uses same colours as lizardmen. Looks great though! Unless anyone has other suggestions?

They all look awesome smile.gif Nothing like blue lizards hey? smile.gif

I've also been bitten by the 'want lots of teams' bug, but at this stage ive only got a box marauders to turn into Norse.

Looks great.

Especially like the female elf. I'm envious of your blending on the skin, I can't seem to get anything like that yet.

No, he is making reference to an in-joke, that refers back to when I was told that my painstakingly painted Deathwing were simply blacklined smile.gif

IPB Image

I think Ill need an extra highlight. Im a little concerned about them blending into the green bases :s

This. Stop ignoring me.

On the snotlings, I think I'd be going with the gorkamorka era grot skin recipe where you highlight right up to a bone to contrast the grass colour, but it does make them look more realistic rather than cartoony.

Oh Sorry.

Ive been slowly working on the Khemri for quite a few months. I had a voucher from some event so I bought a box of skellies, and ordered the mummies from... somewhere.

They were at the last event, but you werent there.

I hadn't noticed that one that is trying to stop the ball hitting him in the face, pretty cool model.
